Our gallery space is available to hire!
The Bright Emporium is the perfect space to hire, from making mess at the drawing table for a 2nd Birthday to raising a glass of bubbly with friends at your 50th. It’s also the perfect location for corporate break-out days!
With a multi-functional design, high ceilings, flying books and marvellous illustrations at every turn, the space sparks creativity and interest, bringing out the child in all of us. The ambience is really relaxed and we like those who hire our venue to feel at home in the space.
We love to hear from facilitators who would like to use the space for their own workshops, whether these are regular or one off’s please do get in touch. Our prices will start from £30/hour for workshop providers.
If however you would like to hire the space for your own party, business or product launch or just to have a get together with colleagues or friends, prices will start from £80/hour. Please contact our gallery team to arrange a time to view the space and for a personalised quote.
By weekday The Emporium is a working office, from 9am-6pm. But at the weekend we are a workshop space, open for hire from 2:30 – 5:00pm for parties and events, the hours can be extended upon prior request to 10pm. We will always endeavour to provide a free 30 minutes before and after the event to set up and tidy up.
Food and Drinks
We do not provide catering, but we know people who do, we are happy to recommend catering suppliers that you can enjoy in our space. Alternatively we can make ourselves available for a food and wine delivery on the day of the event.

On this map you can see that parking is free on the weekends on a lot of the roads around the Emporium, including directly outside of it.
You don’t have to worry about mess, we will organise a cleaner to visit the following morning before the space opens to the public again. We will have one member of staff here, who will just need to supervise the office downstairs to ensure no spillages on equipment etc and should you need anything.
